Krystal Events – Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of event tickets sold by Krystal Events (we, us, our) in New Zealand. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Your ticket constitutes a licence to attend the Event described on the ticket. Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and any event-specific terms provided at the time of purchase.
2. Ticket Purchase and Contract
-
A contract is formed when your ticket purchase is confirmed and payment has been successfully processed.
-
You agree to provide accurate information and to comply with all applicable laws and venue policies.
-
Tickets may only be resold or transferred in accordance with any conditions set out at the time of purchase.
3. Tickets and Entry
-
Each ticket is valid for one person only and must be presented at the event in printed or electronic form.
-
Duplicate copies, screenshots or altered versions of tickets may be refused at entry.
-
Individuals may be required to show appropriate identification in addition to a ticket.
-
Entry is at the discretion of the venue and event organiser.
4. Cancellation, Postponement and Rescheduling
Event Cancellation
-
If the event is cancelled by the organiser, you may be entitled to a refund of the ticket purchase price (face value) in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
-
Refunds for cancelled events will generally be processed to the original method of payment within a reasonable timeframe.
Postponed or Rescheduled Events
-
If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will normally be valid for the new date.
-
If the rescheduled date is not suitable and a refund option is provided, you will need to notify us within the timeframe specified to be eligible for a refund.
No Refund for Change of Mind
-
Tickets are generally not refundable or exchangeable simply because you change your plans, cannot attend, or have second thoughts after purchase, except where required by New Zealand consumer law.
5. Refunds and Consumer Law Rights
-
Your rights under New Zealand consumer protection laws (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986) prevail where applicable.
-
Where the law requires refunds or other remedies (e.g., where services are not provided as agreed), we will comply with those requirements.
-
This may include refunds for cancelled events, failure to provide the service you reasonably expected, or situations where the terms of these Conditions are inconsistent with mandatory consumer law.
6. Third-Party Ticket Sellers
-
If you purchase tickets through an authorised third-party seller, additional terms may apply.
-
These Terms apply to the extent permitted by the terms of the third-party seller and the law.
7. Liability
-
Krystal Events and the venue operators are not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, damage, or other losses arising at an event, except as required by law.
-
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy of ticketing information but do not guarantee that errors will not occur.
8. Changes to Terms
-
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply to future ticket purchases only.
-
Continued use of tickets after updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
